What is included in the end-of-life treatment of sold products category?
The end-of-life treatment of sold products category includes the emissions from the waste disposal and treatment of products sold by the reporting organization (in the reporting year) at the end of their life. An example of this category is the emissions that occur in a landfill after a product is disposed of. This category can be broad and it is important as always to clearly document sources and system bounds. Emissions from this category often occur after the reporting year.
